Easter 2015

As usual our Easter season was filled with lots of fun.....

We made sugar cookies with Grandma Terry, Tracy and Tiffany.  They turned out so cute!

Easter egg hunt at Aunt Andrea'a with the Taggart family.  The kids had so much fun looking for eggs.  Sadie was serious about it this year, she said "I have to wear my running shoes mom, so I can be fast!"  They came home with baskets full of treats.....

It is not Easter with out dying eggs right?  They loved it and now all eggs are "Easter eggs to Finn"...

Easter Sunday best....

The Easter bunny even stopped by....

They got these cute glasses from their Easter baskets from Grandma Terry.  So CUTE!...

Sadie made this cute bunny hat at preschool....

Easter was on the first Sunday in April this year, so we got to enjoy General Conference.  What a great way to celebrate Easter,  listening to our Prophet and leaders teach and bear testimony of our Savior.  How thankful we are for Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for each of us.  Happy Easter!

Sadie Preschool Graduation

Sadie has finished preschool?!  Where has the time gone?  I can't believe she is going to kindergarten in the fall.  She loved preschool so much, usually when I would pick her up she would say "why do I have to come home?  I want to stay at preschool forever!"  She loved her teacher Miss Crystal and all her friends in her class.  She learned so much in one year.  She can write her name like a pro, knows all of her letters, their sounds and she can write them.  She learned lots of nursery rhymes and has them all memorized. She can count to 100 (with a little help).  I think she is more than ready for kindergarten!  They had a fun little graduation ceremony with  caps and gowns included.  The kids sang a few songs that they learned this year, each child recited a nursery rhyme (except Sadie...Silly girl got a little nervous!)   Then Miss Crystal said nice things about each of the kids.  She said Sadie has an amazing imagination and  told how Sadie was always planning and organizing what the kids would play at school.  She even planned a wedding one day!  She said she thinks that imagination will help Sadie become a great writer one day.  After the graduation we went out to dinner with Grandma Terry, Grandpa Roger and Tiffany.  Such a fun night.  We are so proud of Sadie and the smart, sassy girl she is!  I look forward to the many adventures that await us in elementary school!

Finn's 2nd Bday

I can't believe this little boy is 2 years old!  He has brought so much joy into our home.  He has a smile that melts my heart and probably gets him out of a lot of trouble!  He is a smart little cookie that is talking lots, knows his colors and can count to ten!  I am sure he is going to be the class clown one day because he loves to make us laugh.  I can't imagine life without him.  We had a fun day celebrating his birthday.  He is obsessed with all kinds of cars and trucks, so we had a "truck party".  For a week before the party he would say "Finn truck birthday cake!"  He was spoiled by grandmas and grandpas and aunts and uncles.  He got a new big wheel, spider man (or as Finn would say "MAN") toy and shirt, new clothes, trucks and books.  We love you Finn and are so glad you are a part of our family.
