June 2017

WOW! June was a busy busy month.  It all started with the last day of School.  Sadie loved 1st grade and she for sure loved her teacher.  Mrs Heath was amazing for Sadie, she learned so much and really came to love Mrs. Heath.  She told me that she was never going to leave 1st grade or Mrs. Heath.

Finn Finished up Soccer.  He had a great time playing this season and really played well.

Sadie and Madi hanging out at a soccer game...

Sadie had her end of the year dance recital.  She did a fantastic job and looked so cute.  Her class danced to 'Bibbity Bobbity Boo' and 'A whole new world'.

She had lots of people come support her, including her primary teachers that she invited.  Sister Hansen and Sister Dennison.

Swim lessons....
The kids took swim lessons this summer and they did a great job.

We were brave and went to free admission day at This Is The Place Heritage Park.  We went with Tiffany and Beck and then Aunt Julie and her kids met us there.  I am so glad we did it.  The kids had so much fun!

St. George
We always love our trips to St. George.  This year was not any different.  This year we checked out a new park called Thunder Junction Park.  They  had a fun splash pad, playground and train ride. We spent lots of time in the pool. Saturday morning we went to climb red rocks.  On Friday night the grownups went to see Newsies at Tuacahn while the kids enjoyed a "Aunt Wendy night".
It was so Hot and So FUN!!!!

Girls Camp
I had so much fun at Girls Camp with the YW.  The theme was 'Back to the Future powered by faith'.
Our ward was given the assignment of Moses/Ancient Egypt.  I love girls camp and really think it is one of the happiest places on earth!

Sadie turned 7
We spent her actual birthday at 7 peaks with Grandma,Tiffany and Beck.  Then a few days later we celebrated with her friends.  She really wanted to have an emoji birthday party.  We had fun playing emoji bingo, pin the heart on the heart eye emoji, making emoji masks, hot potato with an emoji ball, eating emoji pizza and poop emoji cupcakes.  I can't believe this girl is 7! She is smart, funny, cute and sassy. She has really become my little helper lately. We love her so much and are thankful she is a part of our family.
