Visit to the Hogle Zoo
Aunt Wendy and Uncle Brad gave our family a zoo membership for Christmas. We were super excited to get to the zoo so we headed out one day that wasn't too snowy. We had fun seeing all the animals. The kids wanted their pictures taken with every animal statue there was. Some of our favorites this trip were the sea lions and the monkeys. The weather was good most of the time we were there, however toward the end it started to snow pretty hard. We ended up a bit cold and wet by the time we got back to the car. We are looking forward to many more visits to the Zoo, hopefullu they will be a bit warmer. 
Trip to the aquarium
Our friend Bri (A.K.A Mrs Hardy, Sadie's teacher) Invited us to go to the aquarium with her and her little boy Nate. We had never been to the new aquarium, so we were pretty excited. We had lots of fun looking at all the fish and other animals they have there. Sadie said her favorite were the "pretty fish" and Finn said his favorite were the "turtles". Hopefully we can go back again soon.
Ava update
This cutie is 5 months old now. She is getting so big! jibber jabbing all the time. She loves to watch Sadie and Finn and gives them lots of giggles. She is rolling and scooting about. I can put her down on a blanket and she will make her way off of it. She is trying lots of solid foods and she is loving it. She has liked most everything except for maybe the peas. Aunt Wendy came at the first of the month and introduced her to slurpees, well really just the cup. She is such a happy little girl.
Finn update
Finn is crazy as ever! He keeps us busy and keeps us laughing. He has mastered potty training and it only took a week a two. What a blessing that was. I wasn't sure
I was up for another round of potty training, but he did fantastic. Earlier in the moth he was helping me make mac and cheese and he touched the hot stove. He burned his had pretty bad, it blistered and looked oh so ouchy! It has since healed nicely. I think maybe he learned his lesson. 
Sadie update
Our Sadie lady is growing up so fast. Some days I look at her and think when did you get so big? She is doing so well in school. She reads like a champ and has started spelling words in conversation. Mom and Dad can no longer spell to each other to keep things secret. She loves to draw pictures and give them to everyone. She is a good helper and loves to hold Ava. I am not sure how I only have a few pictures of her this month, I usually have a million and one selfies on my phone of her.
