We went to the water conservation garden for their butterfly release party. We had fun wondering the gardens and doing a fun scavenger hunt. It was really cool to watch them release thousands of butterflies.
Ava was excited to see spiderman. She had no desire to meet the princesses.
Sadie was excited for the princess though.
After the gardens we headed to the snow shack for snowcones.

Miss Ava turned 3 years old! This girl is hilarious, she keeps us laughing. She is also very determined and knows what she wants. There is no changing her mind. She is a Daddy's girl through and through. She loves little people, paw patrol and singing. Some of her favorite songs include 'I'm so glad when Daddy comes home', I like to look for rainbows, On a golden spring time. She loves to read books and is a master at nursery rhymes. She has an imaginary friend named Honey. At her 3 year old well check she was 99th percentile for height! For her birthday she wanted "Strawberry cake". We enjoyed strawberry shortcake with family. Happy Birthday Ava! We love you!
Sadie's 1st day of 3rd grade. I can't believe I have a 3rd grader! Sadie was so excited for the 1st day of school. She is excited to have many of her friends in her class and she loves her new teacher, Ms Bair.
Everyone loves Lyla and can't get enough of her. This girl is not going to know what a personal bubble is.

Finn's 1st day of school. This kid was so excited for school to start. He had to wait a whole week after Sadie's 1st day before he could start. He loves his class and is excited that his friend Austin is in his class. He thinks his teacher Ms. Breitling is pretty great.

Miss Lyla had a pretty tight tongue tie when she was born. Because she didn't nurse I wasn't concerned about her eating, but more about having speech problems when she was older. We decided to have it lasered. Luckily we have Dr. Branton that is a pro. How adorable are those little glasses? She did well for the procedure and has healed up nicely.
Poor Miss Ava took a tumble when walking home from taking the kids to school. Luckily she didn't need stitches and it has healed up well.

We made a trip to the dinosaur museum...
After the museum we stopped to get ice cream cones. I ordered small and they ended up being giant!! The kids were not dissapointed.
We have loved our garden this year. Finn especially loved checking it multiple times a day. We gave him the nickname of farmer Finn.
We planted purple peppers just for Ava. She loves peppers and she loves purple.
