May 2024

Ava had her 3rd grade wax museum. She chose to be Laura Ingalls Wilder. She did such a good job and looked so cute! The was museum is always a fun event.

Ava tried volleyball this year. She played with several friends from school and her friend Alice's dad was their coach. Ava really enjoyed practices but did really like the games. I don't know if it felt like too much pressure, or what. I thought Ava was really pretty good at volleyball and she had a killer serve, but I don't know that she will choose to do again.

The girls got their faces painted at a friend's birthday party

Our school hosted an art gallery to showcase the kids' art work from the year. Here are a few...

We were able to attend the Taylorsville Temple open house. Sadie wasn't able to miss school, but Grandma Terry and Grandpa Roger joined us. It was a beautiful temple. We have watched the temple being built as we often drive by on the freeway. We are so thankful for all of these new temples.

Ava and Lyla did some painting in the tree house...
It makes me smile. Backward 4 and all.

These two are always up to something fun and silly...

Sadie had her end of year dance recital for dance co.

Finn's top 5 favorite things...

Finn graduated from the DARE program.

We enjoyed time with our Taggart family at Zach's mission homecoming.

Best part of working at the school is hanging out with Finn in P.E. I had no idea he had a hula hoop skills. Octopus tag was a fun game.

I took Ava and Lyla to the fairy festival at Gardner Village. It was such a beautiful night. They loved looking for all of the fairies.

Oliver turned 2! This is one loved bunny. He loves to run the yard and has his favorite spots to hide. The kids love him. I can't believe we have kept him alive for 2 years.

Memorial Day weekend. We went to visit graves on Sunday with Tiffany and Grandma and Grandpa and then BBQ at Grandma's

On Monday we went for a hike. and then went to a BBQ with the Taggarts. Summer is so close!

Lyla did her kindergarten animal report on Holland Lop Bunnies.

Last day of school! Kindergarten got out one day before everyone else. Lyla had a great kindergarten year. She had a fantastic teacher, Mrs. Tapia and she made lots of new friends.

The young women hosted a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for girl's camp.

Last day for the other kids.

These two look like they could be twins!

Ava loved being in Ms. Bair's class. Ms. Bair has had 3/4 of our kids in 3rd grade now. We will see if Lyla also gets to be in her class.

Finn enjoyed being in Mrs. Boulton's class.

Ava with her besties, Josie and Louisea.

Apparently if you go to school on the last day of 8th grade you get to scrape gum off of tables. I think Sadie is just happy if she gets to hangout with her friends. Summer Here we come! We had our end of year popsicle party at the park, but I failed to take any pictures. Summer here were come!

2 temple open houses in 1 month! What a time to be alive. We went to the Layton Temple open house.
