Happy 5th Birthday Sadie!!

Sadie turned 5!!  What?!  How do I have a 5 year old?  It felt like 3 days of celebrating.  It started Friday night when Sadie had her first friend party.  We decided to do an outdoor water party.  We had the sprinkler going and squirt guns, wading pools, sand box and giant bubbles.  We enjoyed pizza and ice cream.  Sadie had so much fun with her friends.  Toward the end of the party it turned into a water fight, all the girls were trying to get dad wet.  It was a fun night.
 On Saturday (her actual birthday)  We went as a family to 7 peaks, it is always fun when dad gets to come with us!  That night we went to Red Robin for dinner.  On Sunday we had cake and ice cream with family.  Both sets of Grandparents came, Mark and Tracy and Tiffany and Nathan. Sadie said she wanted a pink cake and that is what she got! Bright pink with lots of sprinkles. Sadie is one spunky little 5 year old.  She is a smarty pants and is so ready for Kindergarten to start in the fall.  She loves her brother and is a good big sister.  We love her so much and can't imagine life without her.  Happy Birthday Sadie Lady!

New Beds!

With a new baby on the way we had to do some moving around of rooms.  Sadie and Finn now share a room downstairs and they got new bunk beds!  Brian painted the wall for them.  They both really like their new beds now if we could just get them to sleep in them all night long!

St. George June 2015

We had a fantastic time on our yearly trip to St. George.  We went in June this year seeing that we are expecting baby #3 the end of August.  We stayed in the same house we did last year.  It really is a perfect fit for our family, too bad the owners are selling it.  We had so much fun spending time in the pool and spending time with family.  Our Tuachan show this year was Beauty and the Beast.  We went on opening night and got to enjoy a fireworks show following the play.  It was pretty great especially the part where they caught the mountain on fire.  Wendy already had season tickets to see Beauty and the Beast later in the season so Sadie and Finn were lucky enough to have a Aunt Wendy night.  They went to the park and saw Mr. Peabody and Sherman.  Sadie's favorite part of the trip was the pool.  She wanted to swim, swim, and swim some more.  The one day we thought it would be fun to go to the carousel and splash pad.  Sadie was grumpy the whole time we were there.  She just wanted to swim in the pool back at the house!  Well sorry for trying to do something fun.  Finn however had a great time at the splash pad.  One day my sisters and I found some goggles and had way to much fun being crazy and taking crazy pictures of each other in the goggles. Wendy and Sanne moved into a fancy new house and so we stayed an extra day at their house.  It was nice to have a day to just relax.  We sure do love this yearly tradition and can hardly wait until next year!
