Family pictures 2020

Family picture time.  Aunt Julie  took our family pictures again this year and she captured some great shots.  It went better than last year (remember Finn had a melt down).  This year our tricky one to get pictures of was our little two year old, Miss Lyla.  I sure love these people.  We might drive each other crazy most days, but I am so thankful that they are mine for All Eternity.

Sadie 10 years old....

Finn 7 years old....

Ava 5 years old....

Lyla 2 years old...

My most favorite boys...

and my girls...

Tiffany and her family had Julie take her pictures right before ours so we were able to get a cousin picture.  It is not very often we can get them all to hold still and look the same direction for very long.

September 2020

We made it through our first month of school! It wasn't easy, especially for Sadie who struggled with some anxiety about being back.  But we made it!  Our school even made it an entire month with ZERO cases of Covid!  Finn and Benny planned out their outfits to match one day....red shirts, black shirts, blue shoes, orange masks and scooters!

Ava's cute art.  She said it was a picture of her and Sadie.
Its a good thing that I bring the wagon to pick the kids up from school.  Ava jumps in and all the kids throw in the backpacks. Lyla usually wants to walk.

In the mornings it gets pretty cool walking to school, but these girls are bundled up warm in the wagon.

Cute girls cuddled up in mom and dad's bed

Finn's best buddy got baptized.  We were glad we could attend.  It is crazy                                        to think that in just a few months in will be Finn's turn to be baptized...
Grandma Claudia turned 70!  We had a fun celebration at Aunt Andrea's house.  We are so thankful for Grandma and all that she does for us.  She is one amazing lady!
After school popsicle break....
Sadie attempted her very 1st 2 layered cake.  It turned out pretty great.
Ava all ready for "wear red day" at school.  How cute is that ladybug mask!?
After dropping the older kids off at school we stopped for a visit with this mom and baby horse by the school.  That baby horse is the cutest!
One day Lyla fell asleep on the couch just before I needed to go to drop Ava off at kindergarten.  I some how managed to load her in the car, drop Ava off, come home, unload her and get in into her bed without waking her up! Miracles!!
The fall weather has been absolutely amazing! The little girls and I enjoyed a morning at the park, we had the playground all to ourselves.   (And yes, those are pj pants that Ava has on.  She was so proud of her outfit choice and they matched really well with her shirt, so I just let it be.)

Lyla loves when we get paint out...
Sadie got a hair cut!  It is crazy how long it had gotten.  It looks so nice to have it cleaned up.  But it is still long, just the way she likes it.

Check out this wild bike gang hanging out at Grandma Terry's house!

This was a beautiful sunrise one morning walking the kids to school...

This made me laugh....Pretty much how I feel most days....
