Ava's Blessing Day

On September 27th 2015 We had Ava blessed.  She looked so beautiful in her dress, I think by the end of church though she was more than ready to get out of that poofy thing.  We had lots of family and friends there to celebrate this special day.  Brian gave a beautiful blessing. After church we all went to Grandma Terry and Grandpa Roger's house for lunch.  Such a special day for a special girl.  We love you Ava!

Sadie's first day of Kindergarten

1st day of Kindergarten!!!  Where has the time gone?  I can't believe we have reached this milestone.  Sadie was so excited for her 1st day.  She was awake and ready to go way earlier than she needed to be.  I was still recovering from delivering Ava so she walked to school with her friends Madi and Taylor.  (and their mom)  Her teacher is Mrs Hardy.  It is pretty neat because Mrs Hardy is in our ward!  She lives just one street over from us.  Sadie says her favorite part of kindergarten is recess.  (surprise, surprise) She is already learning so much and it has only been two weeks.  I can't wait to see how much she will learn and grow this year.  

How cute are these two?  The picture on the left is them at 18 months.  When two girls want to swing and there is only one swing, you make do.  Then first day of Kindergarten on the right.  They are not in the same class but get to play together at recess.  So thankful for good friends!

At my 37 week appointment my Dr. found that Ava had turned and was now breech!  He said if she didn't flip on her own we would have to do a C- section.  Well she thought that having her head in my ribs was the most comfortable and so she never did turn over.

We decided 8 must be her lucky #. she was born in the 8th month, weighing 8lbs 8oz @ 8am!

She has brought a lot of happiness to our house.  Sadie and Finn love her to pieces.  Finn loves to call her "Miss Ava". Sadie can't get enough time holding her. We were lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Taggart stay with us for 2 weeks while I recovered.  They were so helpful, entertaining the big kids, helping with Ava (they even did night duty!) cooking, cleaning and so much more.  I am trying to adjust to having 3 kids it has been a change to say the least.  How thankful we are she has come to join our family.  Love you Miss Ava!!
