I can't believe summer is starting to wind down. We soaked up every minute we could at the pool this summer. We definitely got our moneys worth out of our season passes...
Why are kids in goggles the cutest ever?
We used the kid's money they earned from their lemonade stand last month to have a pizza and outdoor movie party. It was super fun until the thunder and lightening started and we had to run for cover.
This summer Lyla and Liv have been taking a dance class together, and Ava has been taking a tumbling class. They have had a lot of fun.
We have been having so much fun with our bunny, Oliver. It is crazy how big he has gotten and how much he has changed.
August means back to school. I kind of hate that we start school when it is still 500 degrees outside, but it is nice to get back into a routine.
Sadie started 7th grade! Jr. HIGH!! I can't believe we have gotten to this point. She has adjusted really well and seems to be enjoying it.
Ava started 2nd grade!
Mrs. Smith's class
Finn started 4th grade
Mrs. McOmie's class
Lyla will start preschool next month. Here she is looking fashionable at school drop off..
Sadie started another season of dance at Maxwell dance studio.
Ava had a birthday! Now she is 7 years old!
Ava is one of a kind! She is fun, silly, smart, kind, and she is often the peace maker. We are so thankful we have Ava. She loves art, strawberries, swimming, riding her bike, playing with friends, and playing with Oliver.
There is never a dull moment around here. Lyla gave us a parenting first when she stuck a bead up her nose and it got stuck there. We tried everything we could think of at home with no luck getting it out. She and I headed to the urgent care. Thankfully after checking in and sitting down in the waiting room I realized it had slipped down a bit. She gave a good blow and out it came! Thankfully we didn't have to see the Dr.
Were able to attend a Taggart family reunion near Morgan Canyon. We had such a fun day at a beautiful location. After the reunion, we headed to Taggart's Grill for dinner. Apparently having the name of the restaurant doesn't get you any great perks. We enjoyed a yummy meal and had so much fun with extended family.
For Ava's birthday date with mom and dad she wanted to go to the Curiosity museum at Thanksgiving Point. We had dinner at Chic -fil- a and then enjoyed our time exploring the museum.
I think this photo booth we did at the very end was her favorite part...
Finn and I were able to attend a Real Salt Lake game. We invited Brittney and Devin to join us. It was such a fun night! We won 3-0 We are already ready to go to another game. Finn is very into Real right now. He can tell you all of the players names, positions they play, how many goals they have scored this season, and how the team ranks.
Random August.....
