We had a fun month of May....It is always a busy time with the end of school and such. Here are some of the highlights.....

We spent Memorial Day on a hike. It was our first hike back since the fall and we may have bit off a bit more than we could chew. We hiked the living room hike. It was hot and steep and we had some tired legs and tired hikers. We were able to push through though and we made it to the top! At the top there were large rocks arranged to look like furniture, they were fun to sit in and the view was AMAZING! This was a good reminder that we can do hard things!
We made a visit to the cemeteries to visit graves.
We enjoyed a fire and smores one night...
Finn wishes for lots of soccer....
Finn got to go to the fire station with his activity day group. He even got to fire the hose!
Finn Is learning to mow the lawn...He is doing a pretty good job.....
Ava had a week off of school for kindergarten testing. I took her and Lyla to the zoo and we had such a good time. The weather was beautiful and the animals were so active, especially the polar bear. I have never seen the polar bear in the water, but today he was swimming back and forth to the observation window and would pop up right in front of all the people watching. It was so fun to watch.
Sadie did a report where she dressed up as Clara Barton. (She founded the American Red Cross)
Finn finished up spring soccer. He had a fun time playing (as usual) with his team, The Lime Slime!

We spent many afternoons afterschool playing at the school playground...
Finn got a new game, battle ship. He and Sadie enjoyed playing it outside...
We went to the zoo with Tiffany and her kids, Grandma Terry, Wendy and Tracy....
We showed up to dinner at Grandma's and Liv and Lyla were twinning....
We stopped to see Uncle David with his WW2 Jeep at the highschool.
Miss Ava learned to ride her bike with no training wheels! She asked me to take them off and as I was prepping her that it might be hard and we have to keep trying and such, she jumped on and took off down the street. Way to go Ava!!!
We spent several days at parks. Spring weather is the best weather!
Grandma Terry bought us a new kite and the kids had lots of fun flying it. (especially Finn)
Sadie did story telling at school. She won 1st place in her class! Then she got to tell her story in front of the entire 5th grade. She had a fun time.
Mother's day was a good day. Here are some fun things the kids made....
