Taggart family reunion 2011

Every other year Brian's imediate family has a reunion. we take turns being in charge and this year we were the lucky ones to take charge. We planned a trip to the Oregon Coast. Lincoln City to be exact. We found an amazing house online to rent and so everyone made their way to the Coast. We had a long 16 hour drive to get there and thanks to the power of portable DVD players, Baby Einstein, and some awesome cousins we survived the trip. We had an amzing time. It is always goodtimes when everyone gets together...a little crazy at times but always fun.(Beware...lots of photos) Brian's parents...the ones that started it all!

One day we headed out to tour a lighthouse. It was just a small little place but maybe haunted!!(OOOOH)

This was the awesome house we rented. It was huge! just right for our big group. It even had a movie theatre that we put to good use!




We spent lots of time on the beach. Sadie loved every minute of it! She loves to be in the water and didn't hesitate to get wet after we took family pictures. She even found a new doggie friend. (She does love the dogs)
The one day we planned a "hike" it was more like a nature walk....but it was perfect for the kids.

This is how Sadie spent most of her time...We brought that little walker toy with us and she just loved walking around the big deck outside. She especially loved it when her cousins chased after her...she felt like such a big kid. (P.S she has since ditched the walker and is walking all over!)

After our trip to the lighthouse we headed out to see some sea lions...this is us on the dock.

and just one more cute one of Sadie. We such a great time. As we were driving up through the beautiful green landscape I asked Brian, Why do we live in the desert again? I wish we could stay forever. Thanks family for such a fun time! Can't wait for the next get together...and by the way 12 years before it is our turn to plan again!!! =0)
