Brian and I were lucky enough this year to go with our stake youth to Martin's Cove in Wyoming for pioneer trek. It was a great experience. We went as a ma and pa and we had a fun time. We had a great group of kids in our "family". It was a long not fun bus drive up to Wyoming I am pretty sure the bus trip was harder than the actual treking. We love going to Martin's cove the spirit there is amazing and we love learning more about the pioneers and experience just the smallest bit of what they endured. I am thankful for them and their willingness to sacrafice so much, allowing my family to live with the blessings of the gospel today. I hope to live me life with just the slightlest bit of courage, faith and hope that they did.
Each family was given a baby ours was totally stylin in this pioneer dress that Brian's mom made.
The kids were very creative on how to carry the babies....I loved this pioneer baby backpack
It was hot so we were always looking for the slightest bit of shade!
