November 2016

On November 4th we celebrated 10 years of marriage!!! I can't believe it has been ten years!  It is crazy to think how life has changed in 10 years.  To celebrate we went on a walk down memory lane.  We dropped the kids off at Grandma and Grandpa's in American Fork and headed to our old stomping grounds in Orem.  We went to the house that Brian lived in when we met and the house that I lived in.  It is weird to see how much the neighborhood had changed.  Then we headed to Bridal veil falls where Brian proposed and then to the Timpanogos Temple where we were married. Then to our first apartment in pleasant Grove.  Then we went out to eat.  It was so fun to reminisce on the good old days and think about how our lives have changed in 10 years!  Best decision of my life.  I am looking forward to eternity with this guy by my side.

Look at us, we look so young and not sleep deprived....

Timpanogos Temple....

                                                 Bridal veil falls.....

This is the house I lived in with  my roommate Lee Ann.  We called the landlord 'Crazy Carol', she was a nice lady, just a little different....

This is where Brian lived with his two roommates, Mark Hales and Brett Grover.  They often got mail for the address Lupe Circle even though the street signs didn't say it was Lupe Circle we referred to it that way.  Many great memories were made in these places!

This was the first house we lived in....Well we lived in one of the 2 basement apartments.

We had beautiful fall weather this year and it lasted well into November.  I loved it and it made for lots more outside fun...

On Veteran's day we had a neighbor return home from being deployed for 9 months.  Lots of the neighbors gathered on the street to welcome him home.  What a great opportunity to teach my kids about Veteran's day.  I am so thankful for those who sacrifice so much so that we can enjoy safety and freedom.  Including their families who give so much!

The 1st snow of the Season came on November 17th.  These kids were excited to get out in it.  This was Ava's first time really playing in the snow.

For Thanksgiving this year we went to Grandma Terry's house. It was fun because  Wendy came up from St. George.  We enjoyed good food and had fun with family.  After dinner we enjoyed some just dance on the Wii.  Luke and Aaron have got some dance skills and kicked all of our trash!

Sadie showing off her pilgrim bonnet she made at school...
The day after thanksgiving we went and saw Moana with Grandma Terry, Grandpa Roger, Tiffany and Beck, Wendy and Sanne.  Dad Stayed home with Ava because we knew she wouldn't sit through a whole movie.  It was a fun movie and made me want to go to Hawaii! That night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Taggart's for the usual pie fest! yummm!

More snow fun....This time Ava had to watch from inside....

Random Stuff....

When dad has the day off everyone wants to be with him!  This was a Saturday morning pig pile to read with dad....

We moved Ava to a booster seat at the table instead of her highchair.  She looks and feels like such a big kid....

Sadie learned how to braid and she is oh so proud of herself...

I put Ava in the pack and play while I was helping Finn with something when I came back this is what I found....
Finn and Sadie decided to switch clothes!  Crazy kids!
Sadie and her friend Harlie in their owl shirts....
