We started July off with lots of family time! Aunt Natalie and Aunt Jen and their kids were in town and so we got to spend lots of time with the Taggart cousins. We enjoyed the 4th of July at the park by Todd and Julie's house. We had a giant water fight and ate dinner and watched fireworks.
One Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa's the rain started coming down! Everyone grabbed umbrellas and walked to the park by their house.
We took some family photos since this was probably as close as we were going to get to having everyone together in a while. Here are all 26 grand kids (plus Devin) with grandma and grandpa.
We always love being with family and the kids love every minute spent with their cousins.
I was able to go with the youth in the ward to Moab for youth conference. We had so much fun river rafting and we visited Arches National Park. It was a great experience. Our theme for the trip was taken from a talk given by Elder Ballard entitled 'Stay in the boat and hold on'. We had some great discussions about life and trials and remembering that if we stay in the 'boat' (The church/gospel) we will be able to make it through the many trials (rapids) that we will face in this life. I love spending time with the youth, but it is always nice to get home to my family.
Brian had a Birthday! The big 41!
I sure love him.
One night for FHE we went to see the floats for the Day '47 parade. It was fun to see them up close.
Dad has been working hard all summer to get a sprinkling system installed. It has been a big job! We have had lots of help from both grandpas and from Brian's friend from work. It will be so nice when it is all finished! The kids have wanted to help too including just supervising while eating Popsicles. They have enjoyed having trenches in the backyard, they pretend it is a ninja warrior course.
Wendy came to visit for a week! We always love it when she comes. We did lots of fun things while she was here...
Lagoon!
We had a fun time riding rides. Ava loved the carousel, I think she rode every animal on there.
We went to The curiosity museum at Thanksgiving point, with Grandma Terry, Wendy, Tiffany and Beck. The kids had so much fun in the water room this trip. We have loved our pass to thanksgiving point!
