March 2019

On the 1st of March Sadie got to participate in a fundraiser that the dance team at the high school was doing. Mini Jagline. The girls got to learn one dance and then perform it at the dance team's showcase.  Sadie had so much fun.

(Victoria G, Phoenix M, Gia K and Sadie)

The kids had 2 weeks in a row where they didn't have school on Friday.  We went both Fridays to Thanksgiving point.  Each week we invited a different family from our ward to go with us.  One week the Humphries and then next week the Gourleys.  We love that our membership allows us to bring friends.

The 1st week that we went the sun was shining and we were able to play outside! The next week was snowy.

The one week we were there they had shaving cream for the kids to play with on the window.  The kids thought that was pretty great!

I had a birthday! Brian and the kids made me cupcakes.

The kids made cards, and Sadie sent me text from Brian's phone.

That night we had dinner at my mom's house.  I made sure to find the "special plate".  Growing up we always got this plate on our special day.  I guess the plate came from my Grandma and Grandpa Childs.  They bought it while in Pennsylvania and gave it to us.  It is funny how the littlest things can make things "special".

What a difference a day can make it Utah .....
We had another big storm.

Finn turned 6!  I can't believe this boy is 6.  He has the best smile and he brings so much joy.  He loves legos, power rangers, soccer, nerf, games (skip bo is his new favorite) puzzles, jumping on the trampoline and playing with friends.  He is out numbered by the girls, but still loves his sisters. (even if he doesn't always show it) We are so thankful we have our Finn Boy!

Finn had never had a friend birthday party so he was really excited to have one this year.  We did a Lego theme and he invited 8 friends.  It was a bit crazy have 9 six year old boys, but they had fun!  We had pizza, played lots of games like, pin the head on the Lego guy, don't eat Pete Lego edition, Lego bingo and Lego hot potato.  It was a success!

Finn got soccer goals for the backyard from Mom and Dad and Grandma Terry and Grandpa Roger.  He has loved playing soccer in the back yard.

Finn was excited to get a card in the mail with a target gift card from Aunt Tracy and Uncle Mark.

This was what he chose with his gift card money..

Birthday cake and ice cream at Grandma Terry's and Grandpa Roger's

Lego set from from Grandma and Grandpa Taggart...

Finn was so excited because he got to bring Skippy Jon Jones home from his class, on the same weekend as his birthday!

Sledding at Aunt Allison's
We always have so much fun with the Taggarts when we go sledding at the Ewell's.  This year was no exception.  Brian wins dad of the year for sledding with the kids while I watched.  The kids had a blast!  Finn was even going down the hill backward and doing back flips on the way down.  The weather was beautiful, a perfect day for sledding.

It isn't a party at Aunt Allison's without a bit of dress up.

Grandpa Roger retired on Grandma's birthday (March 29th)We had a little celebration with pizza and cookies at their house.

Random March...

Ava and Sadie...

Cute morning smiles...

My cute shopping helpers...

Lyla had her first time in a swing.  She loved it and the kids loved to push her.

one morning Ava knocked the bucket of hair things off the counter into the toilet. Oh the joys of motherhood!

Cute little Lyla playing peek a boo..

This happens just about every single day!  I don't remember any of my other kids having so many blow outs.  Just about every time she poops, it goes right up her back.

We took this picture at the monthly Taggart party when we were celebrating March Birthdays. Finn, Lily and I were the only March birthdays present at this party. (I guess Lyla was photo bombing since she is not a march birthday)

Ava got a haircut...

After...

Lyla was sleeping and I was slipping some socks on her feet.  As I went to put the sock on I felt a lump in the leg of her pants.  I found this toy spider tucked in her pants.  I asked Ava if she knew how it got there and she admitted to putting it there.  ;)

Finn has a great group of friends at school. This is a picture his teacher took at school.

Sadie and her friend Victoria hanging out.
