March has been a busy month...
One night Lyla kept putting her bib over her face at dinner. Some days are just hard.
Our kids have discovered a you tube video that teaches you how to draw cute pictures. One morning Ava and Brian colored a leprechaun together. So cute!
It's not a visit to the library with out taking pictures by the L and the A.
This girl has been not taking naps anymore even though she could probably use one every once in a while. Usually the only naps she gets is when we are driving. Sometimes I just take the long way home from kindergarten drop off to let her take a nap.
We keep getting little glimpses of spring. The girls wanted to have a picnic in the tree house.
Ava is growing up so much and is getting better at doing lots of things, including making sandwiches! I told her she is almost ready to move out now.
One day Finn packed Sadie's lunch for her. I couldn't even handle this cuteness...
I celebrated another birthday. It was a good day with lots of calls, texts, and Cafe Rio for dinner.
The cute neighbor girls left me this note on the driveway.
The kids have been taking swim lessons and have all improved so much.
Ava showing off her cute new shirt.
We got a new front door and window and a new back door. This was very much needed. Both of the doors were very drafty and the window was more like a storm window and always had condensation and would even get ice built up on the inside in the winter. The back door had a doggy door that we obviously never used.
Before.....
After.....
Finn had a birthday! 8 years old!
It is hard to believe he is 8. He is such a good kid. He does really well at school, loves math, puzzles, playing the wii, playing soccer, playing with friends and pestering his sisters. We are so thankful for Finn and love having him in our family. We had swim lessons on his actual birthday so we had a fun little party with Benny and Victoria where we stayed after at the pool to swim. Then we came home for pizza and cake and ice cream.
I had to get a cavity filled....how sad is it when a trip to the dentist with N2O feels like a relaxing vacation?
One Sunday after church Lyla had a bit of a meltdown about leaving Brian at the church. She cried the whole way home and was not very happy with me. Sadie was very sweet and helped her to calm down as they cuddled on the front porch. Sisters are the best!
We had our Taggart family Easter Egg Hunt at Aunt Andrea's house. It feels good that life is slowly returning to normal and we are able to gather together again.
Ava was showing off her reading skills to Grandma Terry.
I found Lyla sleeping like this in her bed one morning. I can totally relate girl!
We celebrated Grandma Terry's birthday with dinner and cake and ice cream. 75 years old this year!
Lots of fun art work at our house....
