December 2024

Sinterklaas came! We had a fun time celebrating.

Sadie and friends with the YW looking at Christmas lights...
Brian was also there and suggested we take the other kids to see..

Parachute fun in P.E and a cute note from a 2nd grade student.

Beck, Liv, and Drew were in a live nativity. Live and Beck were Mary and Joseph and Drew was an angel. It was fun to go see. They even had live animals!

Lyla participated in Jr. Choir at school. They did Horton Hears a Who. They put on a great show and Lyla was an adorable little who girl.  Ava helped as crew.

The Grinch was the ref at Finn's soccer game.

We went to see The Nutcracker. This is always one of my favorite nights. Ava's friend, Kora was in the show and it was fun to see her after.

We went downtown to see the lights with the Meldrums.

We went to the Grand America to see the gingerbread houses and candy windows this year.

Christmas Eve we went to Tiffany and Nathan's for dinner and games. Then we all piled into Grandpa's truck to go see Christmas in color where the kids were crazy in the back of the truck.

Nathan's ugly Christmas sweater must also be his lucky sweater, because he won Left Center Right and took home all the $$$

I was terrible at taking pictures Christmas morning, probably because I was so tired from my children waking me up so early. But here is a picture Sadie took while they waited so patiently for mom and dad to get up....

and strawberries and cream at Grandma Terry's for Christmas breakfast...

We went rock climbing with the Meldrums at the Taylorsville Rec Center. The kids had fun and now Beck and Ava are going to take climbing classes.

New Year's Eve...
We had a New year's party at the church. We had friends and family join us for games, food, and fun. Grandpa Roger set up a photo back drop and took pictures. I'm sad I was too slow and didn't get a picture with our whole family. Maybe next year! Goodbye 2024!
