Christmas 2014

Live Nativity....
Mark and Aaron were part of a live Nativity their church was putting on.  For FHE one night we loaded up to go check it out.  Grandma Terry came with us and we had a fun night.  They had live animals and hot chocolate and cider to drink......

Aaron as a shepherd and Mark as a Wise man.....

Nutcracker...We made our second annual trip to see the Nutrcracker ballet with Kelsey and Sammy.  It was a great show yet again and Sadie loved it.  Such a fun tradition with great friends.

Sugar cookies with Grandma Terry.... It wouldn't be the holidays without making cookies with Grandma.  They turned out yummy!  We delivered plates of cookies to our neighborhood friends and kept plenty for us to enjoy!

All dressed up for church!  (Gosh they are cute)

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's....We celebrated Christmas with my family on Christmas eve, because Mark and Tracy were headed to Arkansas early Christmas day.  We enjoyed our usual breakfast of  green pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream and then exchanged gifts.  Sadie and Finn were in heaven and they were spoiled by all their Aunts and Uncles and Grandma and Grandpa.

Finn got a tool set that included these goggles.  Sadie loves to wear them.  :)  Silly girl, sure is cute.

Christmas Eve at the Child's family party..... As tradition would have it, we spent Christmas eve with the Child's family at Uncle Todd and Aunt Pam's.  It was a fun night,we had dinner, Amber did crafts for the kids, we played several games and exchanged gifts.

This game was fun.  You  had to put a plate on your head and draw the things that you were instructed without looking.  The person with the best picture in the end won.  Sadie loved it and wanted to play it several times.......

In this game teams of two had to tie their arms together and wrap a gift.  It was fun to watch and I was impressed with the finished products......

Christmas Pjs

*I am fired.....I can't seem to get my camera to the Taggart family Christmas party EVER!!  We had a fun night with the Taggart's.  We spent the evening at Aunt Allison's, ate yummy food, and sang lots of fun Christmas songs.  That is such a great tradition that we have with them and next year I am going to remember my camera!!!

Christmas morning we had a nice relaxing morning as a family and then spent the afternoon at Grandma Terry's and Grandpa Roger's.  We were able to skype with Grandma Claudia and Grandpa Bruce in Chicago.  I love Christmas and the time we take to focus on our Savior and his birth.  This year two songs Sadie loved to sing were 'Christmas Bells are Ringing'  and 'Stars were gleaming'.  I loved singing them with her and feeling the love of our Savior.
