24th of July Children's parade

Our Stake was invited to participate in the 24th of July Children's parade.  All the primary children were invited to walk with a parent in the parade.  Brian agreed to walk with Sadie seeing that I was 34 weeks pregnant.  Grandma Terry and Grandpa Roger, Grandma Claudia and Grandpa Bruce, Wendy, Finn and I all came to watch and cheer.  I think this may have been the first parade I have ever attended in all my 33 years! (sad I know)  It was a fun parade and the weather was perfect.  Finn loved the police officers on motorcycles, until one offered to let him sit on the motorcycle then he wasn't so sure.  He also enjoyed all the big trucks that were in the parade.  Sadie had fun walking in the parade.  Each child wore a picture of an ancestor around their neck.   Sadie wore her Great great grandmother Sadie Parker Parkinson.  Following the parade they had a big carnival at the park with lots of crafts and fun things for the kids to do.  What a fun day!
