Principal's pride....
Every week each teacher at Sadie's school nominates someone from their class to get the principal's pride award. Sadie was nominated at the beginning of October. Her teacher said nice things about her..."Sadie is sweet, helpful, a great friend, always raises her hand, and loves to learn." Sadie is loving school and it is fun to see how much she is learning.
Crazy Hair Day.....
This was our first experience with red ribbon week. The one day was Crazy hair day and this is what Sadie wanted done with her hair....
St. George!
Over UEA weekend we decided to take a girls + Finn trip to St. George. So Grandma, Tiffany, Tracy, Mom, Sadie, Finn and Ava headed down to visit Wendy. We had so much fun, riding wiggle cars, taking a bubble bath in the big tub with lots of BUBBLES, going to the children's museum, riding the carousal and just having fun together.
The bubbles in this bath were out of control! The kids had so much fun, it was pretty hilarious.
Only Wendy would have Mickey waffles!....
Children's Museum....
These two had so much fun riding the wiggle cars in the church parking lot across the street from Wendy's house.
Witches at Gardner Village, soup and caramel apples with the Ferrells and Grandpa...
It is tradition that every October we get together with the Ferrell's and go see the witches and come back to our house for soup and caramel apples. This year we invited Grandma and Grandpa to join us since they are living close now. Grandma was not able to make it but Grandpa came and we all had a fun time! This has got to be out most delicious tradition. I love caramel apples! The kids love looking at the witches, Witchy poo is the favorite and it took us a long time to find her but we finally did! We love spending time with family.
Sadie later told me that she was not looking at the camera in this picture, because she saw a boy that is in her class. Ha ha ha ha so funny.
Pumpkin Patch.....
We have loved going to Schmidt's pumpkin patch. They have so many fun things to do, corn pit, hay stacks, wheel barrows to ride in, tractors to sit on, hay maze and of course pumpkins! I am in love with some of these pictures I got there....
We had so many Halloween parties this month! It started a week before Halloween with the Child's family dinner/Halloween party. We had lots of fun with family playing games and enjoying yummy food. We made this silly veggie skeleton for the night.
Pumpkin carving! Oh the gooey gooey mess. The kids love it though!....Their pumpkins turned out cute. Sadie wanted hers to have a tooth and Finn wanted his to be sad....
Trunk or Treat....
Sadie and Finn with their friends Victoria and Benny
Taggart Family Halloween Party....We had a fun night with the Taggart side of the family. It was fun to see everyone in their costumes. Adam was an upside down man, it was so funny. Jon was a maze, he even shaved his head for it. Grandma and grandpa had silly blue wigs and everyone wanted a turn to wear them. we had fun playing games and eating yummy food!
The library has these awesome photo back drops. How cute are these kids....?
It is not October without HALLOWEEN! This year Sadie was a Witch, Finn was Spider Man and Ava was a kitty cat. They had so much fun and looked so cute. We have enough candy to last months so I guess you would call it a success!
It is not trick or treating with out a trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house...
Sadie snapped this one of Grandpa!
wow I am tired! What a fun month. Now onto the Holiday season!
