Trip to Temple Square:
We wanted to make it down to Temple Square before the weather got too cold. Sadie had a Friday off of school so it was the perfect opportunity to go. We had lunch with Dad and then headed over to the Church History Museum. The museum has been closed for awhile while they renovated, so we were excited to see the new children's exhibit. The kids had fun playing and then we headed over to the City Creek Mall, to play on their dinosaurs. Dad came and met us when he was done with work and we stayed for dinner. Such a fun day!
Before we left to go to Temple Square, I put Ava down for a nap and I jumped in the shower. While I was showering Sadie came to tell me that Ava was sad. I told her I would be right out. When I got out I found Sadie in Ava's crib with her. Silly Sadie, I guess it kept Ava happy for a minute.
Thanksgiving
This year for Thanksgiving we went to Grandma and Grandpa Taggart's house. This was the first year in many years that Grandma and Grandpa were together with this much family for Thanksgiving. We had a fun time and enjoyed some delicious food. Such a great way to kick off the holidays.
Thanksgiving for the Taggart's is all about the pie....
Pinterest win...I made this cute turkey cheese ball.
Everyone wanted a turn with little Miss Ava....
While Grandma held Ava and visited with everyone it was as if Ava was just all ears to what Grandma had to say. So cute....
Grandma has some pretty fun dress ups. Check out these outfits....
Sadie made this picture at school telling about Thanksgiving. She said the middle picture is Grandma's keyboard the far right is a picture of the big girls laying on the bed playing with the ipad and the two girls at the bottom are Sadie and Lily.
Miss Ava turned 3 months old on November 21st. She has started giggling and she gives the best smiles. She is a sweet baby and we all love her so much!
Post bath cuteness....
Sundays are the best for taking pictures....
Sadie's Sunday Selfie.....
Finn's Sunday afternoon nap.....
So much randomness.....
Finn's new reading spot...
Oh these two! Most days they are fighting with each other, but every now and then they have moments like this. Makes a mama happy!
One afternoon Finn was taking a nap and I ended up with these two cute girls on my lap, so we took some selfies.....
The first FHE of November, we made a thankful tree. Throughout the month we added leaves with things we were thankful for written on them. The tree was on the inside of the front door so it was a constant reminder of all our many blessings.
Almost every morning when Sadie goes out to get in carpool for school, Finn sits on the porch and waves and blows kisses. It makes me so happy!
Sadie made this adorable picture for Grandma Claudia and Grandpa Bruce. It is Grandma and Grandpa and Sadie and Finn.....
One day the aquarium was having free admission. I knew it would be crazy, but thought we would brave the crowds. When we pulled up the line was out the door and the parking lot was a mad house! I broke the news to the kids that we would NOT be going to the aquarium today. To try and soften the blow I suggested we go to Scheels. They ended up having fun anyway......
