January - March 2017

Life is crazy at our house!  Here goes catching up the last 3 months...

Ava loves to be on the top bunk of the bunk bed.  One morning she wanted to play up there and I was getting tired of standing at the bottom to make sure she didn't fall off, so I decided to join her.  Then Finn came up too.  Party on the bunk bed!

Finn has been having so much fun doing preschool with his friend Benny.....

One day they were both wearing superman shirts! Twinners!

Ava is our little busy body!  She is always into something.  One day she got the bag of rice out of the pantry while I was making dinner.  I saw that she had it but didn't think she could get it open.  I was wrong! Rice everywhere!!! I counted it as sensory play for the day.

For Christmas we got a membership to Thanksgiving point.  We were so excited to check it out.  Our first visit we went to the museum of natural curiosity.  The kids had a blast!  We plan on spending lots of time here this year.

Ava.....

We had a yucky stomach bug pass through our house.  I think Sadie and Ava were the only two victims.  Poor girl... ;(

                                               Ready for a movie night...

Snow! We had quite a bit of snow this winter.  How cute is this Olaf snowman kit?  The kids loved it!

                                                       Our Snowman family...

Sleepy boy...

Super Ava!!!

For a YW activity we sewed little hearts like these for refugee care packages.  Sadie wanted to give it a try.  Not too shabby!
Finn is obsessed with games!  He is always wanting to play a game.  It is hard to say no to this cute smile....
One day we were playing this game where you have an animal card on your head and the other players give you clues to help you guess what your animal is.  I had the hippo on my head, Finn's clue was..."They eat marbles" (think hungry, hungry, hippos) This had us all laughing so hard!

Sadie celebrated 100 days of school.....

 Sadie's tooth fairy....

Sadie made this with her friend Kennedy...."When we are 100 years old we will nit together"

Such a cute note for Finn From Sadie...

For Valentines day Brian and I went to see the BYU Folk Dancers.  This is always my favorite!

We went and checked out the dinosaur museum at thanksgiving point.  We invited Grandma and Grandpa Taggart to go with us....

These two love to play together...

Our Cousin Beck Turned 1 and we found out he is going to be a Big Brother!!! So excited for another cousin!

                                              More snow......

Sadie went to "Juice with Suess" before school one morning with our friends Maddi and Taylor...

My little laundry helper.  He loves to pair and fold socks.  He also does well with underwear and washcloths.

Seriously, Ava is crazy!  I was in the shower one morning when she comes in the bathroom, pulls the shower curtain back and says "HI" as she peeks in with this snow hat on.  Then she took a seat in the sink.  Never a dull moment with this girl.

Walking home with a few of our neighborhood friends...

More Ava shenanigans....

Sadie and Victoria's snap chat...

                                                                      Finn Turned 4!!!!
We had a fun day, we went to the curiosity museum with Benny and his mom and then out to lunch.  We had some family over for cake and ice cream that night.  This year he wanted a Hulk cake.  He got lots of fun gifts, including a new bike!  We love this boy so much and are so thankful he is part of our family!

celebrating February/March family b day's at Grandma and Grandpa's

One day we we were having some beautiful spring weather.  We went to 7-11 for slurpees and then to the park to play.  I got this slurpee for Ava and I to share.  I didn't get very much....

This is hard to read, but I had to share it.  Sadie has been working on her opinion writing, she wrote this one about me.  It says
"In my opinion my mom is the best.  First she takes good care of me.  Next she lets me do fun things.  Last she takes really good care of three kids.  This is why I love my mom."
I am pretty sure her opinion changes quite a bit on this, so I think I need to laminate this to remind her often.  lol

For a YW activity we went to tour the conference center.  It was a beautiful night and I loved learning more about this amazing building!

I was at YW one night when Brian sent me this picture.  I am pretty sure my heart skipped a beat when I saw it.  I love these kids more than anything!  Life is crazy and sometimes I think I am going to end up in the crazy house, but when all is said and done I wouldn't change a thing!

We are so excited that spring is here!  We are looking forward to warmer weather and lots more adventures!
