December is always a fun time of year! So many fun traditions and great memories made with family.
Sunday snuggles on mom and dad's bed..
Sinterklaas came to visit again. We had our usual dinner at Grandma's and enjoyed having Uncle Brad and his fiance Rissa here this year. (yes, They got engaged at Thanksgiving!)
Sinterklaas brought Sadie tickets to see the nutcracker! I was lucky enough to be her date!
We had fun at the Taggart family Christmas party. We sang lots of fun songs and the kids got to open gifts from Grandma and Grandpa! Sadie and Finn got their first ever lego sets. I think they are hooked.
We spent Christmas eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was a nice quiet night. Grandma taught Sadie how to play the auto harp. As we were leaving their house the snow began to fall. Poor Dad got called into work at about 10pm to shovel snow. He didn't get home until 6am! Needless to say he was a bit sleepy Christmas morning. After watching the kids open their gifts, he headed to bed and the kids and I headed to Grandma Terry's for breakfast and gifts with that side of the family. Luckily dad joined us there later that afternoon.

The kids got lots of fun gifts! They got pillow beds from Brian and I (that Grandma Claudia so kindly made) They loved them! They are great for watching movies and Sadie and Finn get to sleep on theirs when they come up to mom and dad's bed in the middle of the night.
During the break from school we took advantage of free admisison day at the hogle zoo. We went with our friends the Grourleys and had a great time.
We spent new years eve at Grandma Terry's. We rang in the new year at 8pm!!!
2018 has a big surprise for us! We found out that we are expecting baby #4 in July!!!
Our kids are very excited. Brian and I are surprised and excited. I can't wait until I don't feel sick anymore!
2018 looks like it should be an exciting year for our family!
