May 2018

This spring has been yard work, yard work, yard work! We had 24 yards of top soil delivered and spent a lot of time moving wheelbarrow loads to the backyard and trying to level it out.  The kids had so much fun playing in the pile of dirt, even the neighbor kids joined in the fun.  Some times they helped move the dirt.

On Memorial day weekend we had sod delivered.  Brian said the best help would be if I took the kids somewhere else.  So while he laid sod we went with my parents and Tiffany to visit graves. It is crazy how different the yard looks!

Visiting cemeteries....

Things were a bit crazy this month with the end of school.  We kept busy...
Finn's preschool class had a field trip to Wheeler Farm.

Then preschool Graduation.  Finn loved going to Miss Tami's preschool.  He made new friends and learned new things.  He is really looking forward to kindergarten in the fall!

Sadie had her 2nd grade program.  She was so excited to perform all of the fun songs they had learned.

Sadie was lucky to have 2 teachers this year!  She loved both Mrs Saunders and Mrs Smith.  She really enjoyed 2nd grade and is not sure if she will like 3rd grade as much, but I am sure she will love it!

*I didn't get a picture of Mrs Smith's card. ;(

One day Finn and Ava and I met up with Tiffany and her kids at the Thanksgiving Point Farm...

Finn had another fun season playing soccer.  This kids loves to play!

Grandma Claudia and Grandpa Bruce are serving a mission at Mutual Dell up American Fork Canyon.  We are enjoying Sunday dinners up in the mountains.  I am sure the kids are going to have great memories of this.

Our family had our 6 month check ups at the dentist.  Everyone did so great and no Cavities!!!

After the dentist we went to dinner and then stopped at the children's museum.  We were shocked there was no one there! Apparently the evening is the time to go!

I was lucky to go with our youth to the cultural celebration for the re dedication of the Jordan River Temple.  It was a fun event.  I am thankful I was able to be a part of this awesome event.

The kids made me some great Mothers' day cards..

One day Ava found a roll of T.P in Finn and Sadie's room and did a bit of toilet papering.
