Lyla's Blessing Day was wonderful. Brian gave a beautiful blessing and Lyla was an angel. She looked so beautiful. We enjoyed lunch at our house with friends and family after church.
On Labor day we went to Red Butte Gardens, where they had an incredible Lego exhibit. There were amazing sculptures all made out of Legos.
Brian, Lyla and I were able to fly to Seattle for Brad and Rissa's wedding. Lyla slept the entire flight there. We spent our first day there downtown at pike place market and on the water front.
Neither Brian or I had ever been to the gum wall at the market. This time we found it and it was pretty gross!
Spud's on Alki has always been a favorite.
The wedding was wonderful. We are excited for Brad and Rissa and are happy to have Rissa join our family. Sadie has always loved her and was excited that "now she is my Aunt". We had fun dancing the night away. Lyla slept through the wedding including the dance party that was nice and loud!
It was such a fun weekend away. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Taggart for watching the big kids while we were away.
Family pictures Fall 2018
Aunt Julie took our family pictures for us. It had been 2 years since our last pictures, so it was time. Especially since we had added Miss Lyla. I love how they turned out. Totally worth all the stress and prep to get them done.

We went up to Mutual Dell for the last time this season. Having Grandma and Grandpa serving up there has been so much fun. One more summer and then their mission will be done.
