october 2018

Grandma Terry promised Ava a trip to the store to get balloons as soon as she was all done with diapers.  She was so excited to go out for lunch and to the store for balloons with Grandma.

Crazy day at school.  It was crazy hair and crazy clothes day.  Finn only wanted to do crazy hair.

Pumpkin Patch.  We love to go to Schmidt's pumpkin patch to get pumpkins and play in their play land.  This year Finn had Skippy Jon Jones from his kindergarten class for the weekend.  We took skippy along with us.

Fall soccer.  Those late games really get cold!

General Conference weekend.  Sadie was old enough to go to her first session of Women's conference. She was glad to have her friends Harlie and Victoria with her.

Lyla slept through most of her 1st General Conference.  There were big announcements made at conference.  Mostly that there will no longer be a 3 hour church block.  Now we will have 2 hours of church and will start doing come follow me for families and individuals in our homes.

Ava shared her moose with Lyla.  You know Ava likes you, if she shares her moose!

These are the pumpkins we grew in our garden this year.

For fall break we went to Temple square to visit dad and then we toured the conference center and visited the museum.

We went to the scarecrow festival at thanksgiving point with Tiffany, Beck and Liv.

Our neighbors gave Ava this Rubble mask.  I hope I never forget the sight of her riding her tricycle hone from their house with this mask on.  It made my day!

Sweet Lyla baby...

Our annual trip to Gardner village with the Ferrells.  We always have so much fun.  I am glad their kids still want to do this every year even though they are so grown up.

Sadie has been getting hand me down clothes from Aunt Tiffany.  I don't know how many 8 year olds can say they get hand me downs from their Aunt, but she sure looks cute.

I can't get enough of this little girl!

Crazy hair day.  Sadie and I had fun making this spider.

Poor Finn had some weird virus this month that he just couldn't shake.  He had really high temperatures (103-104), no other symptoms.  The Dr.s said it was probably just a virus.  They even did blood work to check for anything else that might be going on.  He was a champ while having his blood drawn.  It lasted for a good 2 weeks.  Thankfully it ran its course and he was back to normal soon enough.  unfortunately he did have to miss the ward trunk or treat.

Ava and Sadie ready for the Trunk or Treat...

Pumpkin Carving...

Taggart Halloween party...

We had a blast at the Tagggart Halloween party.  Our family were all super heroes.  We made special band aid cookies for Aunt Allison, because she hates band aids.

Cute kids....

School Halloween parade.  Luckily Finn woke up on Halloween with a normal temp so we sent him to school.

Lyla slept through the parade.

We went to Grandma's for our jack o lantern pizza and cookie decorating before we went trick or treating.

It was a "Super" Halloween.  Ava was set on being spiderman and she would get upset if anyone called her spider girl.  She as spiderMAN!

A few random pictures.

Sadie fell asleep reading the friend magazine on Dad's phone.

Sadie's drawing of her as a Teenager.

Playing in the rain...

We were walking to the school to pick up kids and Ava fell asleep in the wagon.
