Our November has been filled with lots of random fun.....
Morning snuggles in bed are the best!....
Lots of crafting...
Our Prophet, President Nelson gave a special message to the world. He spoke about gratitude and the healing powers that it can have on our hearts. He encouraged everyone to flood social media with gratitude. The kids obviously don't have social media, so we made a paper chain of all the many things we are grateful for....
The primary encouraged the kids to share what they were grateful for with sidewalk chalk on the driveway.
This was what Ava drew...(Mom and Lyla)
Thanksgiving looked much different this year. Because of the pandemic health officials encouraged people to enjoy Thanksgiving with just the family in your household. We enjoyed our dinner together.
Turkey by Finn....
and Ava.....
This girl LOVES hide and seek. She would play all day if we were down with that.
Lyla loves to go pick up the kids from school. It is getting colder, but we have been able to to still walk to pick them up most days.
The kids love to get in Lyla's bed any chance they get.
Brian has been working from several days a week this is what lunch breaks look like....picnic and eye spy.
Nothing like working from your bed. Reading about garden design and and answering emails and calls.
I bought these dresses for the girls last year for Easter. They were a bit big and Lyla is just fitting into hers. This Sunday they all wore their dresses and looked so cute. Ava recently got some clip on earrings that she has been very proud of. She is showing them off in this photo.
Sadie was awarded the Wildcat OF The Month award at school! She is such a good student and I am always impressed with her!
"Sadie has done an amazing job this year so far working hard in and out of class. She always makes sure to understand what is required before just jumping in to an assignment. She is very thoughtful with her answers and makes sure to follow all criteria on an assignment. I am so proud of her efforts this year and have no doubt that she will continue to work hard" -Mrs. Lewis
Some days are hard....One Saturday during chores, Ava decided she needed a break from everyone. She packed her coat in a bag and headed out to the front yard.
The Aquarium had $2 admission one day this month. We were able to get tickets and go. $10 for our entire family to go to the aquarium is unheard of! We had a fun time.
The weather is changing by the day. One day it is sunny and we are spending time at the park and others it is cold and snowy.
We got just a skiff of snow, but obviously the little girls wanted to go out and play....
Ava said her snow angel looked more like a snow crab....
Napping in Mom and Dad's bed...
The primary has been having zoom check in for the kids. The kids have been enjoying seeing their friends from church, even if it is just through the screen.
Fall leaves are the best.....
cute girl just waiting for her favorite kids to get out of school....
Ava in a tree again....
We went to the library. Ava always wants her picture taken with the letter A out front. This time we got Lyla in front of the letter L.
How cute are these two? Best cousins!
cute girls walking home from school....
Finn found a new use for his mask...a hat?
