Hike with the Taggart Family to Stewart Falls....

Aunt Natalie and her family were in town at the first of August and so the family planned a hike to Stewart Falls up Provo Canyon.  Dad had to work so I packed the 3 kids up and met everyone there.  I was a little concerned on how everyone would do on a long hike since quite often we can't make it on a walk around the block without lots of complaining.  However everyone did so great!  I am sure it helps when you have grandma and grandma and lot of cousins and Aunts and Uncles to help.  We even walked under that freezing cold waterfall!!!  The kids got so dirty, but they had a great time.

One afternoon Grandma and Grandpa came up for a water fight!!  What?!  coolest grandparents ever.   The kids had so much fun.  After the water fight they took Sadie home with them for a sleepover with her "best cousin" Lilly.  These two are so cute together and love to play at grandma's house.   

We took Finn out for a snow cone since he was not invited to the sleepover.  

Ward Camp out....

We had a fun overnight camp out with our ward at Bear canyon campground.  It was beautiful and it was fun to spend time with our friends and neighbors.  The kids love having their friends there to play with.  At one of the campsites, the camp hosts had set up a cute winnie the pooh story time.  You were able to walk through the woods and see all of pooh bears friends and then have a story time at Christopher Robin's house.  It was the cutest thing and the kids thought it was great!

We went camping with the Taggart side of the family for a few days at Payson lakes.  It was a blast!  We enjoyed time with family and the beautiful scenery, of course grandma came prepared with lots of crafts and games for the kids.  It was nice because there is a paved trail that goes all the way around the lake, so the kids were able to ride their bikes around the trail.  It was a little scary because at night there were moose outside our tent!  We could hear something large tromping around and breaking branches, I was more than freaked out!

Where does time go?  Ava turned one this month.  She is such a happy little girl, but she sure does keep up on our toes.  She loves to climb on everything and is always getting into something.  We had a fun birthday celebration with family.  We made monkey cupcakes for our little monkey.  We sure love this little girl and can't imagine life without her!  Happy Birthday Ava!

Finn had his first season of soccer!  He had so much fun playing.  His team name was "The Blue Dolphins"  It was fun watching these cute little kids run around the field.  He was on the same team as his friend Austin, what a bunch of cuties!

1st day of 1st grade!  Sadie Started 1st grade, she was so excited to get back to school. This year her teacher is Mrs. Heath.  She loves lots of things about school especially being with friends and she is excited to eat lunch at school this year.

Finn is doing an at home preschool swap this year with his friend Benny.  They do one day at our house and one day at Benny's.  He is loving it and having so much fun! 

Stake carnival...

each year our stake has a carnival with games and treats and lots of fun.  This year didn't dissapoint...
