Girls Camp 2022

I love girls camp!  This year I got to go as the camp director.  This was a first for me, I have always gone as either a girl, or a yw leader.  I  have never had to plan it!  Thankfully this year was stake camp, so the stake did much of the planning.  Our theme this year was Bursting Forth with Faith and Trust!  Our ward focused on "We will trust in the Lord by making and keeping covenants." The best decision I made in camp was asking Brother Barnes to handle all of the food.  He did such a great job and that is a Lot of work!  Plus the food was Amazing!!!

This camp was special too because This was Sadie's 1st year at camp.  It was fun to be there with her, even if she wasn't sure she was happy to have me there.  Brian also got to come as part of the bishopric.

Wendy was so kind to come stay with my younger 3 kids so that Brian and I could both go to camp.  The kids had a blast with her, and I never once had to wonder if they were ok.  Thank you Wendy!

There is just something special about camp and I hope I never outgrow it.

Megan Saldivar was my assistant and she was so awesome!  The girls loved her....

I made one of these roaster sticks when I went to camp year and years ago.  I still use it today, so I thought this is the best camp craft ever!  The girls made some super cute ones.
